No machine room
The machine for the compactlift©
is installed in the shaft itself, removing the need for a separate
machine-room and freeing up a significant amount of space. (This
also offers more flexibility in design, which can be especially
important when installing a lift in an older or character building).
The machine is located to the top and side of the car – allowing
maximum ease of access. |

Permanent magnet technology
As well as offering important environmental benefits
(no oil, reduced noise), the permanent magnet machine powering the
compactlift© can help you achieve
significant savings in energy consumption and maintenance. It also
delivers a smooth, gearless ride. |

Easy installation
The real advantage of the compactlift©
system lies in its simple design. The cantilevered car means the
system needs just one supporting wall for the guide brackets –
cutting down significantly on installation time and construction
costs. |
|
|
| |
| |
Shallow pit
The cantilevered design also allows the system
to be installed with a standard pit depth of just 1050mm –
making it much more flexible for use with existing structures, as
well as reducing construction costs on new buildings. |
|
|
| |
| |
All round access
Another key advantage of the cantilevered car
is that it allows up to three entrances
– offering you complete flexibility of access. |
|
|
| |
| |
Self-supporting structure
The compactlift©
system can be supplied with its own self-supporting steel structure
– ideal for existing buildings where space may be at a premium
and where it may be undesirable to build a new shaft. |

Discreet control unit
The control unit takes up minimal space and can
be located on any landing. This is an important consideration in
a residential environment, since it can be moved to a level where
it causes minimum disruption. Contained in a fire-rated cabinet,
the unit can accommodate control for groups of up to 3 cars. |
